09:49 pm - Fic: My Heart, My Life
Title: My Heart, My Life
Fandom: St. Ives (1998 film)
Pairing: Susan Gilchrist/Farquhar Chevening
Rating: NC-17
Summary: On his wedding night, Major Farquhar Chevening learns, among other things, that the tongue isn’t such an overrated organ after all.
A/N: Thanks to therealjourney for looking it over.

he knew a lot of things he could talk about like guns or what they’d be doing back at the prison right now if it was still a prison, or the weather, but none of it seemed appropriate for when you were standing in your bedroom with the woman you’d just married, and he had no idea what to sayCollapse )

For some reason I find myself rather liking and wanting to see more of Lois Smith after a single scene in 'Minority Report' that smashed me out of my 'high-tech, blockbuster American flick' frame of mind (*points to icon*). I suppose I will have to see 'How to Make an American Quilt', and track down some of the others. Has anyone seen 'Iron Jawed Angels'? There's actually a community for it, so I'm imagining someone has, but since it's made for TV I've buckleys of finding it here in good ole AUS.

02:28 pm - New Fic
This fic must hold the record for time spent working on it. For a 'short' fic, it has been in the works for about two months. That's longer than any other short fic that's actually ended up finished.

Anyway, here it is. Quite possibly the only Ian Irvine VFTM femmeslash ever written. The link will take you straight to the Ian Irvine comm where I posted it - the code was a bit of a nightmare so I don't want to have to copy and paste it.

Cloak And Dagger
Pairing: Yalkara/Faelamor
Rating: R
Summary: I am the cloak and she is the dagger. Two viciously opposed entities locked in a furious, dangerous embrace. You cannot hate what you cannot also love.

Concrit, ego stroking, OMGBBQ - all reviews welcome. They feed my muse and help me improve, and I love them all.

There were few things in the world more inspiring to Miss Eleanor Lavish than a mystery.Collapse )

Title: Working Girl
Author: minerva_fan

I worked for old Mr. Larrabee for the last three years of his life, assistant to Mrs. Callahan, who had been his secretary for forty years. Linus got me in the will, I think.Collapse )
